Can I add Aheeva on my existing Asterisk deployment?

Yes. You can keep your existing Asterisk deployment. However, Aheeva requires the presence of its own Asterisk IP-PBX, as there are modifications and additions to the standard version, which can work hand in hand with your own Asterisk server.

Can my existing PBX switch work with Aheeva.

Yes, it can be used in conjunction with Aheeva. However, Aheeva requires the presence of its own Asterisk IP-PBX, and both can communicate via standard TDM or VoIP protocols.

How do you license Aheeva?

It is a concurrent licensing model. So it is not the number of agents in total, but the maximum number of simultaneous users.

What Protocols/Codecs are supported by Aheeva?

A wide variety of TDM and VoIP protocols and codecs are supported, such as ISDN, Euro-ISDN, SIP, IAX2, G.711 (a-law and μ-law), G.729A, GSM, etc.

Does Aheeva record calls?

Yes. Both audio + video

Is Aheeva multi-tenant?

Can Agents work remotely (home)?

Yes. As long as the agent has access to a good internet connection and your network permits external access. The quality of the connection must meet certain requirements in terms of bandwidth, latency, and jitter.

How easily does Aheeva scale in size?

It is easy to grow with existing hardware, by simply adding, not replacing. Aheeva has been grown by clients over 1000%.

What is the Aheeva solution comprised of?

Aheeva CTI, an Apache Tomcat server, a MySQL database,  a record storage server, and the Aheeva softphone.

Can I run Aheeva in Linux?

Yes. Aheeva is developed and tested on the Linux CentOS platform.

Does Aheeva work in a Citrix environment?

No.
